硅鐵被廣泛應用于煉鋼工業、鑄造工業和鐵合金工業。在煉鋼時硅鐵合金常被用作脫氧劑。硅鐵還可作為合金元素加入劑，廣泛應用于低合金結構鋼、彈簧鋼、軸承鋼、耐熱鋼及電工硅鋼之中。

硅鐵產能4.5萬噸/年，75#硅鐵產量占總產量的百分之八十以上。

The capacity of the ferrosilicon is 45,000 tons/year.75#accounted for more than eighty percent of the total output．
